Gio Gonzalez – Gio isn’t a sure thing, but neither is this Milwaukee offense. Gio’s been solid enough this season IMO, so the matchup doesn’t scare me.
Dillon Gee – Gee looked sharp in his first start off of the DL, and I think he continues to look sharp against a weak San Diego offense.
Cole Hamels – This Braves roster has hit .205 against Hamels lifetime. I don’t know if reverse BvP is a thing, but I’m not ignoring that today.
Victor Martinez – V-Mart is 8-for-13 lifetime against Zach McAllister, he’s also got 7 RBI against him as well.
Mark Teixeira – Tex is having a solid season against RHP, and in a stadium that favors lefties with some pop, I’ll roll with him today.
Dustin Pedroia – Pedroia hits Danny Duffy for a .429 lifetime average.
Kyle Seager – Seager is 6-for-16 lifetime against Garrett Richards.
Yunel Escobar – To continue the trend of BvP stats, Escobar has hit Phil Hughes for a .320 lifetime average, as well as an OPS of .859
Jose Bautista – The way the ball has been flying out of the Rogers Centre this year, Colby Lewis is in some serious trouble today. Look for Bautista to be the stirrer of that trouble.
Giancarlo Stanton – You know what he can do. Roll with him.
