Yu Darvish (vs TB) – Darvish has struggled at times this season, but he has looked outstanding in most of his starts. He has a 6-5 record with a 3.53 ERA and an 11.5 K/9 through his first 16 starts. He gets a great matchup against the Rays, who have struggled to score runs since the trade deadline. Darvish has the ability to completely shut down offenses, and he’s a -210 favorite in a game set at 9 runs. He’s available in 9% of leagues on Yahoo, and he’s an elite pitching option tonight.
Madison Bumgarner (vs LAD) – Bumgarner has been widely successful this season, but he has struggled a bit over his last 10 games. He is at his best in San Francisco, where he has an 8-4 record with a 2.04 ERA and a 9.7 K/9 through 16 home starts. He gets a decent matchup against the Dodgers, who he has had mixed results against this season. Bumgarner is a -130 favorite in a game set at only 6.5 runs tonight, and he can be used in all leagues.

Carlos Martinez (vs PIT) – Martinez hasn’t had an elite season, but he has looked outstanding. Through 30 starts, he has a 15-9 record with a 3.15 ERA and a 7.9 K/9. He gets a decent matchup against the Pirates, who he has struggled quite a bit against this season. Martinez has been fairly consistent recently, and he’s a -190 favorite in a game set at 8 runs. He’s available in 7% of leagues, and Martinez is a great option tonight.
Taijuan Walker (vs OAK) – Walker didn’t have the breakout season that everyone was expecting, but he also didn’t look terrible. He has a 7-11 record with a 4.35 ERA and an 8.1 K/9 through 24 starts. Walker has flashed elite upside recently, and he gets a great matchup against the A’s tonight. He has thrown well against Oakland this season. Walker will also be throwing in an extremely pitcher friendly stadium tonight, and he’s a -210 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs. He’s available in 34% of leagues on Yahoo, and he’s a boom or bust streaming option.
Robert Gsellman (at PHI) – The Mets continue to use a makeshift rotation to win games, and Gsellman has been a huge part of that. He is coming off his best game of the season against the Phillies, and he gets another matchup against them tonight. Through his first seven games (six starts), he has a 3-2 record with a 2.56 ERA and an 8.2 K/9. The Mets are finally allowing him to pitch deep into games, and he’s a -150 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs tonight. He’s still available in 60% of leagues on Yahoo, and he’s a great option in all leagues tonight.
