Madison Bumgarner (at SD) – Bumgarner has really been struggling over his last 10 games, but he has looked outstanding this season. He has a 14-9 record with a 2.57 ERA and a 10.2 K/9 through his first 32 starts. He gets a great matchup against the Padres tonight, and Bumgarner has had success against them in four starts this season. He’s a -225 favorite in a game set at only 7 runs, and Bumgarner is a safe enough option to be used in all leagues tonight.

Clayton Kershaw (vs COL) – Kershaw has looked good in limited innings since returning from injury. He has also dominated the entire season with an 11-3 record, 1.73 ERA and a 10.8 K/9. He will likely see his pitch count increase to 100 tonight, which is more than enough pitches for Kershaw to pitch a gem of a game. He gets a good matchup against the Rockies, and he’s a huge -295 favorite in a game set at only 6.5 runs. He can be used safely in all leagues tonight.

Noah Syndergaard (vs PHI) – Syndergaard is another elite pitching option on this slate. Through his first 30 games, he has a 13-9 record with a 2.63 ERA and a 10.6 K/9. He gets a great matchup against the Phillies, who Syndergaard has dominated in two starts this season. He’s a -245 favorite in a game set at 7 runs, and he will be throwing in a pitcher friendly stadium tonight. He’s another pitcher that can be used in all leagues tonight.

Jason Hammel (vs STL) – Hammel hasn’t thrown as well as some of the other pitchers on the Cubs, but he has found his own success this season. He has a 15-9 record with a 3.59 ERA and a 7.8 K/9 through his first 29 starts. He will be throwing in Chicago tonight, where he has a glowing 1.84 ERA and an impressive 10-1 record. He gets a decent matchup against the Cardinals, and Hammel is a -135 favorite today. He’s available in 13% of leagues on Yahoo, but he’s best suited for tournaments because of the risk he comes with.

Ivan Nova (vs WAS) – Aside from his last start, Nova has looked great with the Pirates. Over his last 10 games, he has a 5-2 record with a 3.47 ERA and a 7.2 K/9. He gets a tough matchup against the Nationals, but Nova has looked outstanding in Pittsburgh this season. He’s a -140 favorite in this game, and he’s a fairly safe option with great upside. He’s still available in 41% of leagues on Yahoo, and he’s a great option in all leagues, although the tough matchup is a bit worrisome.
