Last night was a rough one. Let’s wash off last night’s stink with today’s forecast!
Jon Lester – Top pitching play of the day in my opinion. No doubt about it. He gets the Twins in a pitcher’s park? No need to think about it.
Adam Wainwright – Of course you want options though. He was assaulted by the Brewers last time out, but I think tonight Waino sticks it to the Red Sox.
Roberto Hernandez – The pitcher formerly known as Fausto Carmona gets the strikeout happy Astros tonight. If you really don’t wanna spend at pitcher, why not give Rob a look?
Devin Mesoraco – I think he does work tonight. Call it a gut feeling.
Brandon Moss – Oh man, Pino is going to HATE Oakland after tonight. All those fans making all kinds of annoying sounds, Brandon Moss taking him deep. His kids won’t be allowed to go to Oakland after this.
Chase Utley – I like the matchup tonight for Mac’s favorite player. Collin McHugh can be taken deep.
David Wright – Wright has had some success against Jordan Zimmerman (11-for-36) but don’t go crazy on Mets bats.
Hanley Ramirez – C.J. Wilson ain’t right. HanRam will make sure that it stays that way. Don’t let the matchup on paper scare you.
Nelson Cruz – If you’re like me, you had a lineup or two with Baltimore bats in it last night…. They disappointed you. You owe us Cruz. Now go out and crush LHP like we know you can.
Adam Jones – Jones, read Cruz’s memo. We need redemption!
Melky Cabrera – Melky’s hitting over .350 in his last 10. I like him to keep it going tonight.
