There are many different views on stacking, such as do I use a 6-1-1 stack, a 4-2-2 stack, or even do I not stack at all? I personally am a strong believer in stacking, and will be going over three potential 4- and 6-man stacks for today’s games.

Top Stack

San Diego Padres – The Padres played great last night, but they played a bit too well and some of the starters were removed just a few innings into the game. I’ll stay on them tonight, as they get another great matchup against a left-handed pitcher. They have a team full of lefty killers and they are projected at 4.91 runs tonight. This seems like an obvious stack after they dominated in last night’s game.

4-Man Stack – Wil MyersMatt KempJustin UptonWill Middlebrooks

6-Man Stack – Wil Myers, Yangervis Solarte, Matt Kemp, Justin Upton, Derek Norris, Will Middlebrooks

Mid-Stack

Miami Marlins – The Marlins have been playing terrible baseball to start the season, but they have a great matchup in hitter friendly Citizens Bank Park. They have a few hitters that have the ability to hit home runs, especially in a small ballpark. The over/under is set at 8 runs with the Marlins projected at 4.13. Everyone will most likely be on the Rockies and Padres tonight, which means the Marlins should go a bit under the radar and could be a great GPP stack.

4-Man Stack – Dee Gordon, Martin Prado, Giancarlo Stanton, Christian Yelich

6-Man Stack – Dee Gordon, Martin Prado, Giancarlo Stanton, Michael Morse, Christian Yelich, Marcell Ozuna

Contrarian Stack

Tampa Bay Rays – There are so many projected high scoring games tonight that the Rays may be able to fly under the radar, even though they’re projected over 4 runs. The over/under is low, at only 7.5 runs, and that should have people skip over it, as there are a bunch of 8+ run over/unders tonight. The Rays have some right-handed bats that can dominate lefties and Wade Miley is coming off a terrible game. The Rays are fairly big favorites and they should be able to score some serious runs tonight.

4-Man Stack – Logan Forsythe, Evan Longoria, Desmond Jennings, Tim Beckham

6-Man Stack – Brandon Guyer, Steve Souza, Logan Forsythe, Evan Longoria, Desmond Jennings, Tim Beckham
